Lumenis LightSheer DESIRE laser hair removal gets rid of unwanted hair on the body permanently. It
features two different types of handpieces: High-Speed Vacuum Assisted and ChillTip Sapphire. High-Speed
Vacuum Assisted technology is generally for use on larger areas, such as the back or legs, while
ChillTip Sapphire technology is used on smaller areas, such as the upper lip and sideburns. The laser
utilized can either emit 805 nm or 1065 nm wavelengths. The ability to mix and match two different
handpieces and two different wavelengths makes LightSheer DESIRE laser hair removal safe and effective
for all skin types. Treatments are uniquely customized to meet each individual patient's specific
needs.
NOTE: Prior to treatment you must shave area to be treated. If you wax the area to be treated it must be
at least 4 weeks post waxing before you can treat the area. It is also recommended to not expose the
area to be treated to sun prior to treatment as well as during treatment ( frequently applying sunblock
